Well all I want is an honest answer from u guys. I know it is limited and nothing compared to having a joystick. But I want to hear your experiences and here are some questions!
How is it when playing Emame games that really need a joyustick?
How can you input text in games like highscore and in Sarien (Old Sierra Games)
How do you manage with the GameBoy Emulator?
How does playing in games in general work with the Jog dial?

To tell you the truth i think its cool to be able to play pacman on the p800 but i'll stick to playing emame games in general onto my ipaq3975.
Well, Doom plays ok... but it's more fun in God mode. Without the cheats, you'd probably be dead in a few minutes! :P hahahaha
SE should come up with gaming accessories that attach to the connector to give the P800 any of the ff:
-gamepad w/ control buttons like a Gameboy or something
-enable the Ericsson chatboard to work with the P800
So how do you move with no joystick ....with the jog dial? And what buttons do you press for actions and typing text?
Playing Emame was nearly impossible, but it was fun to see it work and what P800 was capable of. But the EDoom came out(wow), and i use the Jog to walk forward, look sideways, jump... and Camera button to shoot, and browser button to open doors... works quite well, i don't use the touchscreen at all... The best is Roleplaying games like EScummVM, that is just GREAT... i LOVE Day of the Tentacle and it works like a charm...
Where did you get the Day of the Tentacle game?
Is EscummVM already available for download?

I frankly believe that the P800, although it can run game software, was not optimized for it (especially action games). So, to while away time I play mind games like chess, mah-jong, othello, and the likes with the stylus. Playing games with the jog dial is not practical at all.
Absolutely agreed with Terrible. Means while puzzle game is really fun playing with this set, shanghai anybody?
well the thing is that playing those action games actually shows you the possiblities of the P800. Sooner or later someone will be creating tetris 3D for it.... 😃
