Pls post anything that relates with this new N95-4 8gb NAM. It seems that when you try to update this phone, NSU doesn't recognize this phone due to new firmware version.

that's because there are no firmware updates for the n95-4 8GB. and i dont think its possible to change the product code and flash with the euro v20. so we are stuck with this version. since the n95-3 STILL hasnt gotten even one update, and its still on the original v11 firmware (without demand paging, etc), i'm worried that nokia will leave the n95-4 out in the dust too.
Ironically, I just got off the phone with them talking about this issue. He told me it could be one of two things. Either the USB interface connecting to the port is damaged or because of the firmware the NSU does not recognize it. He tells me since the phone is so new that it already has the latest firmware. He said Nokia is working on a new firmware update and will notify us when it is out. Until then we are "left in the dust."
this v1.2.011 sucks the phone runs very slow.

I just got the same phone N95-4 with 1.2.011 firmware version. However, I think I am having the same problem. Both my computers fail to recognize the device and give me the error "USB device not recognized". You can read more about it here,
