N95 speakers VS N95 8gb speakers

Hi

I have an n95, and my mate has the 8gb

We just used the nokia internet radio app and tuned into the same station

the difference in sound is astonishing
the 8gb is soooooo much better
most noticable when on full whack

is this a known issue?
the classic n95 is running the latest firmware

can anyone do this test, and see if i need to take my phone to get fixed please!

thanks
Mark

i have absolutely no issues with my n95 classic. havent compared but the sound is crisp and loud.

Having owned the N95-1 and now the N95 8GB I have to agree that the sound is so much better on the N95 8GB. It is noticeably louder through the speakers and imo clearer.

thanks for that

can someone who has access to both phones do a quick test to confirm that their is a definate difference.

..... i dont want to accept the 8gb is better

I hope you guys have made sure that the equaliser, loudness and stereo widening settings haven't been activated on either phone when doing these comparisons.

Yeah they're in the music player but I've found it effects my ringtones as well when anyone calls me, so just wanted to make sure they didn't effect the Internet Radio app as well.

i've noticed the same thing and others have reported it also. i had the n95-3 and my n95 8GB speakers are definitely louder when playing back music.
