Using Map Loader with Nokia N95 8GB

Hi folks.

I've downloaded and installed Nokia Map Loader and I want to preload my Nokia N95 8GB with maps for Europe to avoid Vodafone charging me �8 per Mb on data costs.

When I attempt to run Map Loader, I'm told no storage medium can be found, even tho I have a nice big fat 8GB HDD on my N95. Since a Nokia N95 8GB does not have a memory expansion card, does anyone know of a workaround for this rather frustrating problem.

Greetings.

I'll answer my own question to help others. Nokia Maps must first be run once on the phone. After an initial first run, Map Loader detects the HDD and then preloads map data just fine.

I guess I should read the warning messages properly. 🙄
