E90 on O2 - Firmware upgrade question

Guys
Assuming I ever manage to get NSS to recognise my phone so I can change the product code to allow the upgrade to 07.40.xxx, how do I restore the O2 access point & other settings? I'm assuming these will be lost in the upgrade.

TIA
Mark

After the upgrade, launch the Settings Wizard in the Tools folder and it'll set up everything for you. Failing that, go to o2.co.uk and try to find the page where you can get it to send you a settings SMS that'll set up all your access points for you.

Once that's done, you'll need to set up the default access in all the applications you're using if you want them to connect automatically via O2 instead of asking every time.

You'll also need to go to Tools -> Settings -> General -> Positioning and make sure that Assisted GPS is ticked in the "Positioning methods" section and that the access point is set to O2 Mobile Web in the "Positioning Server" section. That'll enable assisted GPS which will allow you to get a GPS lock in a few seconds instead of a few minutes without it.
