i dont know about unlocking but you can certainly debrand it free. Take a look through the many posts in this forum. I debranded N95 8Gb but as far as I know its still locked to o2, which is fine my me anyway

What network are you with ?

If you are on contract with vodafone in the UK ring 191 and they will unlock for free, and all vodafone handsets from now on are unlocked.

Hello!
Would anyone know if Vodafone Spain is able to do so for free too? Or if someone has tried, since in the website there is no info about it?

Thanks in advance..

I have the same question for Nokia 9500 communicator

Hi Sweety,
I want to say thanks to you for sharing such a nice link with us. It is very
nice site and it provides service at very low cost. Thanks again for it.

You can get the solution here in this site http://www.theunlockarena.com/unlock-your-phone/rs13wp2/
while i'm searching for unlocking my mobile i found several sites & i'm very much irritated & finally i found solution in this site with unlock code for unlocking my mobile it worked out great & got satisfactory result!!!
Try out this site to unlock ur Nokia N95 mobile!!!!
This site provide unlock code & instruction at cheap cost!!
Cheers-)

That doesn't work for the N95 though.

Other than a willing operator, there are no free unlocking facilities for the later Nokia phones.

Yeah I can concur. I'm a bit of a tight arse and wanted to both debrand and unlock from Orange. Managed to sort out the debranding but could not find a free unlock code/site (something to do with the phone security being BB5 and being more secure).

As it's out of contract I phoned orange and they wanted 20 to do it via SMS and it would take a week for the code to come. I also called my local high steet outfit who could do it for 20 immeadiately. Five minutes later (and 20 down) it's now working on 3.
