Win Live Nokia N95 Connection Problems

Can you please help with this problem please?

I've always used Windows Live on the N95 without problems. Until recently!

I'm on v21.0.0.16 and it was working fine when I first upgraded. I pay the 1.50 a month to use it.

However I keep getting "unable to connect" messages, either via T-Mobile (in the UK) or via my Wifi network. So it doesn't appear to be network dependant.

Therefore today I thought I'd go for a clean install. I wiped the phone and re-installed v21.0.0.6 - no problems there. I then went to download WinLive but it wouldn't work - it looked like it was started to download then would hop back to the menu - without installing.

So I sourced the .sis files (dep.sisx and WindowsLive_S60_3_1_v_1_1_8161_signed.SIS) and installed them in that order. All good from an install point of view.

Then I click on Messenger and Click "Sign in" - I can see it getting a network connection as the 3G flashes and changes to 3.5G then I get a message...

"Welcome! In the future, a monthly charge... etc" appears which I "Accept".

Then it asks me to Sign in to Windows Live and I type my username and correct password in. I click "Next"...

Again I see the 3G flashing and connect but it comes back with this message...

"Sign-In Failure

Windows Live is temporarily unable to connect. This may be because your phone is in the 'Offline Mode' or you do not have a data connection."

Help! I'm not in Offline mode and I do have a data connection. Can anyone please help me with this? :con?

Just thought I'd add to that, if I go into the Messaging menu I can see Windows Live as an option.

If I go in and select "Synchronise e-mail" then again it appears to connect (the 3G flashes and changes to 3.5G) the "Welcome" screen appears, I type my user name and password then after an extended pause... The same error message!
