Nokia Maps lost payment code ---Help — Nokia N95 and N95 8GB

My Tomtom reciever went flat one day and i purchased the voice guidance for Nokia Maps....

I have since done a hard reset and upgraded to the latest firmware. So i have lost the text message containing the payment code.

I just assumed that like most other companies they would have a record of my purchase (perhaps linked to my imei)....So when i tried to re-download it again and it asked for a code i was stunned..

Now to cap it all i also just bought a new laptop, and formatted my old one.

So even if the confirmation code had been sent to me i've lost it.

So, to my question, can anyone suggest how i go about getting my voice guidance back? I was just going to start the download again and hope at some point the installer would know i have already paid, but i don't want to take a chance and pay again

You need to contact customer support but I think they will need the date you purchased the voice guidance. Have a look at nokia beta labs webpage and click on nokia maps 2.0 beta. There is a faq doc to look at, that explains what to do if you loose your code or change your device for nokia maps.

Cheers for that, i have sent them an email. I could supply a lot of info about me, the phone, payment method etc....But i wouldn't have a clue which day i bought it !!
