Can we access LAN internet on N95 through USB cable?

My PC is connected to LAN broad band internet. Is there any possibility to access this high speed internet on Nokia N95 through USB cable? I want to connect my Nokia N95 to PC through USB cable (Supplied in its sales package) for browsing broad band internet on N95.
I have PC Suite installed on my PC.
Please help.
Thanks

at least not without a bunch of messing about.
it would require the USB port on the PC to act as a LAN card with an IP address - and the LAN (or other connection) to have internet connection sharing (simplest XP/Vista plan) .. I don't know of any software that allows a USB port to be used in this fashion.

There is another possibility if you have a bluetooth adapter on your desktop / laptop machine. There maybe a possibility of using bluetooth PAN - LAN sharing although again I have never seen it done in this direction. Its common to see PC - bluetooth - phone - 'net .. but not phone - bluetooth - PC - Net

the simplest solution to your situation is a wifi router (these are really inexpensive these days).

Good Luck!😊

If you have a pc with internet, why would you want to browse the internet on your tiny phone screen?

Especially as your on about using it connected with a USB cable, you'd have to be very close to the pc.

Bit of a pointless thing i'd say.

A wireless router is the best way to go if you want your home internet on your phone, and not stuck to your computer with a 1 metre USB cable.

I agree that a wireless router is the way to go, but if you don't have one then using the PC proadband connection is a lot cheaper than using 3G data, if you don't have a good data plan. It would let you download N-Gage games direct to the phone, for example.

Windows Mobile devices allow this, by the way.

If your PC has a wireless card but you don't have a wireless router, you can try and change it in to a hotspot as described here.
