The official N-Gage blog has reported that Space Impact: Kappa Base is now available in final version from the onboard N-Gage client. Go play! See also All About N-Gage's review.

Fixed it, the showroom appears to use a cached list of games and it has no auto-refresh feature, which is a rather big design flaw for something that's supposed to show the latest list of available games..

It seems that the only way to get SIKB to appear if it's not there is to open the S60 browser separately and clear the cache manually, then reopen the N-Gage application and go back to the showroom.

Aha, apparently you CAN get the game to appear within the application, but you have to disregard the official instructions somewhat:

Go to the showroom, but don't go to the available games section. Instead, click on Options, then Update Now, and the game will appear on the main showroom page.

It's odd that Update Now isn't an option in the Available Games section, but there you are...

I was trying to download this game last night over the air on my n95-3. It kept telling me that the file was corupt and to delete it. I noticed that my ngage program was using HSPDA by default. I changed it it my wifi connection, and was able to download and install. Not sure if that was related or just coincedence.

Zadosha, did you get Space Impact while using First Access (the N-Gage beta test)?

Apparently it may help if you uninstall the game from the phone's Application manager (in the Applications folder), then try to reinstall the game with the N-Gage application.

I had the same file corruption problem with World Series Of Poker, and when I uninstalled it the problem went away.

If it doesn't help, try posting about it on the official N-Gage support forums:

Interestingly this showed up without any problems for me - perhaps because I hadn't been to the show room in a while.

Seems a shame Nokia can't push messages out announcing a new games (similar to the add friends thing).

Perhaps the S60 browser's cache only uses recent copies of pages?

I've been using N-Gage quite a lot lately so there's probably a cache of the showroom in there all the time on my phone.
