E90 Performance is very slow?

Hi,

I have recently made some changes to my E90 which seem to have resulted in severe degradation of performance, and made the phone almost unusable.

Would appreciate any assistance.

Here is what I did....

1. Upgraded the firmware to version 200.34.73

2. Deleted all contacts (to eliminate duplicate entries) and re-synced with my PC. Do recall seeing a brief message about the database being corrupted, when the entries were being deleted regardless all the entries were deleted. The sync seemed to have gone well (the right number of contacts were transferred to the phone without any duplicate entries).

Since completing the above mentioned steps, the performance of the E90 has been reduced to a crawl and it takes a very long time (30 seconds or more) to perform any function (even looking up a contacts in the address book takes that long).

Could really use some expert help.

Cheers

Hi sequelny

Well obviously something is very wrong as the new firmware is much faster than previous ones Personally i would do a *#7370# which will erase everything and give you fresh device and start again.
