Guys, sorry if this has already been mentioned but I have been monitoring forums for a while looking for the latest release to the Tmobile branded N95 classic firmware. I emailed tmobile yesterday and got a message saying this was down to Nokia so I emailed again saying that I had read that it is Tmobile related and I gave them a link to a thread on another forum. I am happy to report the email I received is promising:😊
Hello ******,
Thank you for your further Email in relation to the Nokia software update for your N95.
I have spoken with the product managers here at T-Mobile and I can confirm that T-Mobile in conjunction with Nokia will be releasing a firmware update. This is a firmware that T-Mobile have requested by Nokia with is an equivalent to Nokia`s version 21 firmware, however various music links that T-Mobile do not support will be removed. This is the only difference between the latest Nokia and T-Mobile firmware (V.1.4) updates.
This firmware is expected to be released within the next fortnight as this is currently in the final testing stages with T-Mobile awaiting approval.
I hope this information is helpful to you ******. If we can help further please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,
