Interesting to see the recent crop of accelerometer-based utilities starting to get Symbian Signed at last. p@sco is reporting that ShakeSMS is now available for download in official Signed form, so no more messing around with IMEI-based .SIS files, which has got to be good news.

You don't need your app to be symbian signed to access accelerometer. It can be self signed.

It's whatever other features that are in use (at a guess, sms apis, rotating the screen, etc) that require symbian / imei specific dev signing in these type of apps.

Oh, I know. I was just wildly generalising the accelerometer genre! Most of them now seem to need other capabilities etc.

They must not like Samir as rotateMe is still not signed.
