I have a Nokia 6500 slide which is locked to orange. is it possible to unlock this phone myself rather than having to ring orange up for the code?? Can anyone help me with this?

Not really. Orange really is the best way to do it. There might be a few places that unlock, but Id be extremely wary of those.
