Clrearing/Reseting WAN Access Points

3 replies · 3,109 views · Started 22 April 2008

Hi have a few connections for WAN. which now have the wrong WPA key, but how do i reset or remove them.

EG. I have one at work called DIRECT1. I connected ok, but now the WPA key has been changed. I connected again and the phone called it DIRECT1(01). Now when i see the SSID DIRECT1 it tries to connect and says failed "Wrong WPA Key" but does not give me option to change the password or delete the Access point.

Help Please.

To remove a WLAN Access Point, go to Tools>Settings>Connection>Access points then highlight the access point in question, press Options and select Delete. It should go. You can then go back to WLAN Wizard let it scan, highlight the connection you want and create your access point in the usual way inputting security details.
