Hi
I have been trying to get the O2 Email to Text service working. This uses MMS to send the emails to the phone.
I basically had this working until O2 set out new MMS settings and now it doesn't.
Now I have lost all my Web & Video calling settings in the "Access Points" configuration.
Anyone know how to get these back or what they are.
Also, does anyone know how to clear this problem: When I connect to the web, I have an option "O2 MobileWeb" which doesn't work. However, this does not appear on the "Access Points" setup page. I used to have an "O2 Mobile Web" (with a space between Mobile and Web) which did work.
Would love any suggestions.
Ok. I think I'm getting there. When O2 sent the new (duplicate) settings, for some reason the cleared the 'Access Point In Use' under the MMS settings. As a result, when the email (sent as an MMS) was sent, the phone couldn't connect properly. Problem Solved. 😊
I think I foound the Mobile Web settings on the internet and that is now working as well. Problem Solved too. 😊
I haven't found things like the 'Video Call' settings and am not sure if these are the same as the web settings and so could do with help here. Could someone check for me. :con? Thanks.
I still have this curious 'O2 MobileWeb' setting which does not appear in the 'Access Points' setup page. It only appears when I connect and it prompts me for which service I wish to use. It always fails. Does anyone else have this and well as the 'O2 Mobile Web' setting (with a space). :con?
