Googlemail Contacts - Help!

I use the built-in Nokia Email client to send and receive push email from my Googlemail account via Imap. I also use the windows live client for my old account which puts all my Windows Live contacts in the contacts menu of my phone so that I can just select a name and email them directly.

I don't wish to continue using the Windows Live programme though as I no longer need it, and was wondering if there's a way to import my Googlemail contacts to my phone so I can simply go through the list and select a contact to Email. As it stands it seems my only options are to reply to an email I've already received or add email details manually to every contact on my SIM card....not exactly ideal!

If the Windows Live client can show contacts, surely the built-in client has some capacity to do this?

Or have I overestimated nokia's Email facility?

when i signed up for the free email app SEVEN, it pulled EVERY SINGLE GMAIL contanct into my contacts on the phone, and it was the most annoying thing ever. that is probably what you need. but it pulls too many, basically every person i ever emailed got added to my address book on the phone. also, SEVEN is suppsed to be free push email or something. worth checking out maybe...
