If you've got the above phone can you do me a favour, go into tools, settings, phone, network, and let me know if you have the operator selection option available please?
My phone doesn't seem to want to roam to other networks when there is no 3g network available, even though it should (I have network mode set to dual)
I've debranded & upgraded to v20, and I don't have the option available to select manual operator selection - it's not there when I go into network menu under tools, however it is there if I remove the SIM and try!
Any ideas?
Edit, forgot to add, I did phone 3 up yesterday, and the operator I spoke to seemed surprised it wasn't there, so I assumed it was due to an issue with v20, so I made my excuses & hung up lol!

Did you by any chance perform a backup/restore before and after de-branding?
Doing a PC Suite Restore or Memory-Tool restore after FW upgrading and or de-branding can have unexpected effects, including losing some menu options.
If you did perform a restore, try formatting the internal memory with *#7370#
(Be warned you will lose all your custom settings, contacts, calendar, etc.)
No, I didn't do a restore, and I've also tried doing a full reset, the only thing I copied back were my contacts from mass memory.
I'm wondering if it's a network setting on the SIM as the options there when the SIM is removed - do you know if it could be sorted by getting 3 to send a settings update ?
