Yahoo Mail

I've been using the N95 to happily receive and send mail for sometime. POP3 and SMTP settings were nice and simple and it all worked fine.

A few weeks ago it stopped being able to send, and a couple of days ago it stopped receiving.

I just fixed the receiving by switching on SSL in the security settings for POP3 so for some reason something has changed and that's now required.

I then did the same for SMTP but that doesn't appear to have solved the problem. I tried a few other suggested ports beyond the default but with no success.

Anyone else experienced the same problem, got any idea what has changed and or managed to fix it ?

Yahoo recently changed their settings. Have you tried plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com and plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com Also I am sure you are subscribed to Yahoo Plus service, right?

No I'm not subscribed to plus. I assume you are saying that what was previously a free service is no longer the case ?

As far as i know, you've always had to pay for Yahoo pop forwarding. It's like $20 a year or something. Or you could use the Yahoo!Go application, but i find that app kind of tedious. I use Profimail.
