I've been offered a cheap iPhone trade for my W960i.
What are your suggestions, co-members, regarding this trade-off? Should I go for it?
What are potential weaknesses in the iPhone?
How can one justify any leniency towards either side?

If you enjoy Applications, phone customisation (even including themes), iPhone will bother you a lot since it is a completely locked device. The SDK of it is a joke and there is no way of coding a good, legal application with it.
Other choice would be "hacking" it and it is the time you lose all support of Apple and guarantee. Also once you hack, you are dependent to hackers (in good sense) to release new "jailbreak" for new firmware while legal devices are all enjoying latest firmware.
To say one sentence: You can't even change iPhone battery yourself!
I think you better keep your W960i.
