viewing of Flash video embedded in a website

hi, was browsing a website that had a video embedded, the options were to use Flash or WMP. Flash was default, yet the video would not play.

I was under the impression and have seen flash player is on the phone. Do ihave to download something extra or adjust some settings?

Thanks in advance

The Flash player in the E90 is Flash Lite 2, which does not support video playback. There are a few free applications, such as emTube and Mobitubia, which will let you browse and view YouTube (and only YouTube) videos, albeit not within the Web browser.

The latest version of the E90 firmware, version 200 (yes, two hundred), does include support for Flash Lite 3, which supports video playback within the Web browser. It is not really clear what the story is with this new firmware though. It had a false-start 2 weeks ago (Nokia released it then pulled it a few hours later) and was then re-released. There are a few posts on this forum about this new firmware. Is seems to be only available for handsets in the APAC region for the moment and some users have reported various issues with it. I have not tried it myself so can't comment on this.

ok, thanks for the reply, the need to actually view in browser videos are few and far between, just wnated to get the most form the phone. i am in finland and firmware 200, isn't available to me.
What is APAC ( Asia / Pacific???)

cheers
