i would like to browse for podcast on my pc, and then be able to add them to the n95

is this possible?

once you have found your podcasts on your pc copy and paste them into the podcasts directory on your n95. Worked for me with my chris moyles podcasts that I downloaded with itunes.

hope it works for you too

sorry i didn't explain properly

i meant the links
i want o mange them on my PC then import to the n95

is there a podcast xml file i need to edit on the n95?

you just need to open the podcasting app on the n95, and import an xml file that you have created with all the podcasts. then they will show up in the podcasting app.

m.r.davies wrote:dont suppose you could give me an idea of how to import the xml file?

...Just bluetooth it (xml file) to the phone and when you open it on the phone it automatically asks if you want to add the xml file to the podcast directory

m.r.davies wrote:great!

dont suppose you have an example xml file or a schema ?

..no, sorry :icon13:... I only found this out by mistake when trying to import some RSS feeds in XML format :embarasse

i have an xml file that you can try out, and it actually has all the good symbian related video and podcasts setup, including this site and the smartphone shows. its over at ricky's site www.symbian-guru.com in one of the older articles from 2 months ago. its available there, so i just went there on my phone browser, saved the file to memory card, then imported it in the podcasting app. done. go try it out.
