Branded firmware lag

I do not wish to debrand my phone whilst it is covered by a vodofone warranty, but do want the auto rotate function that V21 brings. My N95 8gb is running V15. Has anyone any idea how long it takes for the phone companies to release their 'branded' version of the latest nokia firmware. Can anyone say for example how long it took when the upgrade to v15 occurred since I upgraded to that (losing Spiderman in the process) the same day I got the phone, but have no idea when it was released by Nokia.

^^^ That helps! Nice! If you're gonna post stupid comments don't even bother.

As for the question there's no specific date when they gonna release firmware update for branded vodafone you just have to wait. like many other.

You are wise to think twice before de-branding (my warranty was voided).

Unfortunately, you may have to wait months for Vodafone to approve new firmware. You should probably contact Vodafone Customer Service for a release date.

You could also have a look at the changelogs in the 'Nokia N95 Firmware versions - LATEST FIRMWARE listed here!' sticky thread and see what bugs have been fixed between V15 and V21. You could then phone Vodafone to complain about some of the bugs you are 'experiencing' and ask for V21 to be applied to your handset by Vodafone Repair Engineers. They may refuse but you can hassle them about the bugs in your handset.
