sometimes when i sent a sms, i get the message "application already in use" and message is not sent or the message is "failed" in the outbox or the message is "resent" 3 min after! what could be the problem?

what network are you on?
have you updated/flashed or reset your phone?
if no when did it stop working? have you changed any of the settings for the MMS, WAP or SMS gatways?

I get the same problems occasionally on my n95-3 NAM with most recent firmware (although the Americans seemed to have been forgotten by Nokia). I am on TMobile US with unlimited SMS/MMS plan. I cannot seem to trace it down to a program or anything. It's like my phone just gets tired of sending them and I have to send twice. It always sends it the second time though.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

i'm on the latest firmware v 21. and haven't changed any mms, web/wap or sms gateway settings
have you only just applied v21?
might want to get o2 to resend them, i have to do it after eve flash or reset
just removed "conversation" and everything is fine!
