everytime i sent a sis/sisx to my and i tried to install it, i got the msg "file is corrupted" whats the problem?

The problem is, "file is corrupted" i think that is pretty clear.

Try getting a sis/sisx from Nokia mosh that is designed for the n95 and install that. If you still get the error message than there may be an issue with your PC transferring over to your phone. Try a different method to get the file to your device. usb, bluetooth, memory card reader, SMS, download URL by wifi via device....

If you are still getting the error message, then try a soft reset of your phone. This can be found by searching the forums.

That's right. SIS/SISX files that weren't made for the phone's operating system won't work. I experienced this a couple of times with my N70 before I sussed that out

i'm not that stupid to mess up with the sis/sisx of another OS! just done a hard reset 😞 and now all the programs are installing correctly!

btw whats the difference between a sis and sisx?

sisx was created after symbian os 9. I don't really know why.....I am guessing it's a different packaging type, like JAD and JAR...
