CoPilot 7 now available for Series 60

I mailed CoPilot support about E90 compatibility last week as it wasn't listed as a compatible mobile and they replied basically saying they hadn't tested it on an E90 and had no idea if it would work or not.

I assume that it uses the internal GPS module ?
Are there any problems switching between the internal and external displayed ?

Also where did you find a copy ? I've tried the suppliers listed on the www.alk.eu.com buy I can't find anyone listing the Symbian version (or did you get an upgrade from v6 direct from Alk ?)

Yes, it works great with the in-built GPS.

It only really works on the external screen. On the internal screen, it sits on the left half of the screen, but usuable.

I had a copy of Copilot 7 for my previous phone - a pocket pc.

I called ALK yesterday and the support guy e-mailed me a link for the series 60 application. So, I installed the application on my E90 and worked fine with the existing maps.

Pity, it doesn't really like the internal screen 😞
I think I'll stick to Navicore until they sort that out.
