Removing Logo, ( Not Debranding )

N95 8GB

I thought I would show what happens when you take all advise for granted on forums.

I can't remember if it was on these forums or another 95 forum but I read how to remove the printed logo, Vodafone in my case off a N95 black.

The advise simply was to use nail varnish remover and cotton buds, well it does work to a fair degree but it does leave a mark.

It looks a lot, lot, lot worse in the photo then it is but I thought I would share my efforts or stupidity. 😮

Ouch that does look bad. I wouldn't have tried the nail varnish remover primarily due to the rubberised/soft touch coating on the back. The nail varnish method is more for bare plastics without any coatings, for future reference 😊 At least you'll be glad to know that replacement rear covers are cheap [edit: maybe not cheap but reasonable, just realised it was the n95 8gb]

You live and learn :icon14:

I agree. I would've just gotten a new back cover if they're cheap. The last phone I had that had the provider's label on it was my Philips Diga, and that's going back quite some time!

Thanks for the replies,

As I said, the photo is lying in this case but no not a bright moment of mine.

I will live with it, I can't see it anyway, phone is in a flip case anyway.

Thanks Ian for the link. 😊
