I am sorry to post this thread here but I need help and I know the best technical minds are found here in N95 forum. My friend has Nokia 7610, and its display has vertical white lines. I changed its theme but no change. Can anybody help as how to rectify this problem. Should I format the phone to remove these fade vertical lines from the display. Is it because of some hradware problem or could it be a software problem?

it could be a screen fault. do you have a nokia service centre near you to have it checked out?
sounds like a faulty display connecter - if the rest of the display is there then maybe one of the cables in the ribbon is damaged. Should be repairable
