On May 3rd. Steve Litchfiled wrote a review of the N95 8GB. The review is at http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/features/item/A_Nokia_N95_owners_week_with_the_Black_8GB.php
In it he says "...the absence of the microSD card, meant that I was unable to use my 8GB card...".
The specifications for the phone, at http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4344017 say "Memory card slot supporting up to 2 GB microSD memory cards".
Who is right, please?
Please note that I tried to contact Mr. Litchfield from the review web site but the link http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/features/author/Steve_Litchfield.php gives a 404 error.
The N95-8GB does NOT have a card slot, but obviously 8GB built in.
The N95 (the silver, none 8GB one) DOES have a card slot.
The review is for the N95-8GB, the stats are for the N95.

The simple answer is.......wait for it, you're going to kick yourself........they both are!
The article by Steve Litchfield refers to the Nokia N95 8GB Black phone (N95-2) whilst the second Nokia link is about the Nokia N95 Classic model (N95-1). The Nokia link for the N95 8GB is:-

Whilst both phones are relatively alike there are differences between them.
guys he is asking what size memory card works in the n95. nokia website is wrong, the original n95 can accept memory card up to 32GB size. they just put 2GB cause that was the only size card released at the time of n95 release.
My cellphone provide, Rogers has just introduced the 8GB version with NO microSD card. There are no plans to release any other N95 with an expansion slot. Is this common??

There are 2 other n95 variants that have the memory card slot. The n95-3 even works on 3g in north america. Just so happens that your carrier didn't sell those versions. The -3 and all n95s with memory slot support up to 32gb memory cards.
Thanks, I wonder what's up with that. We don't even have the IPOD phone yet. I am in Canada and we were told we will be getting it by the end of the year. However, someone I know is going to sell their IPOD phone and get the N95 8gb when it comes out next week.

Good look with the iPod phone, theyre now stopping selling them in USA and UK to get ready for a new one
lol. i guess it's about time that a new version of the iphone is coming out. why is it onlybeing introduced in USA and the UK? That blows me away. Me thinks it should be introduced to Asia and Canada as well. Asia has a huge market. Canada, doesnt have a big population so I can see that as a reason to some extent.
