Please help,
I beleive i need to flash the rom of my Nokia e61i-1
I have been trying to install some .jar and .jad files .
Ive tried for a couple of days now without luck. the fone acts like its installing, then at about 90% the installation bar disappears, and i find later that the software is not installed and not functional.
What am i doing wrong? and how do i get around this .
the phone is made in Finland, i bought it off the shelf, (not in Finland!) it is supposedly not tied to any network, and the code is 0553438 type RM227
i really would appreciate help from anyone on where i can get software to flash the rom and turn it into a more useful fone.

is it REALLY important to flash back to JF6? In the past I've always been without my micro USB cable, so I simply just download the latest cognition on my phone and flash it using Rom Manager after making a backup.
In these software all functions are really very cool it is one of the latest and cool to know about it. It can provide so many things which is great to know these software is good to installed these all perhaps are good to know about it.
