How to End Calls by Closing the Slider?

Is there an option to end calls when you close the slider? It doesn't seem to work on my N95 but it did on my N80ie. I can't seem to find an option for it either. Anyone know how to change that?

id also like to know this, when I first got the phone, I assumed it did just that! But no :P

You'll need to download and install a third party application to do this. One such free application is FlipSilent (http://www.flipsilent.com). "Slider end call" is not one of the main features but it does offer the facility you desire.

there were so many complaints to nokia about the n80 hanging up when the slider was closed, that they removed this function. they should at least make it an option to enable in the settings. i like having the phone not hang up when closed. i would hang up accidentally on every call!

Well what they should have done is made it so that when you are talking on the handset and you slide the phone closed then it will hang up. BUT if you are talking on the SPEAKER PHONE and you close the slider, then the call just stays active! 😉

Hmmm well I tried to sign it this evening with Open Signed, and it's not working. Looks like the package is locked in to a specific email address. :frown:

It wont sign on symbian signed because it is protected you will need cert and key file from OPDA to self sign.:icon14:

Well it's to my understanding that it's impossible to get a certificate anymore unless you pay like $200 to get a publisher id. :icon13: Seems like symbian signed has changed EVERYTHING around. For the worse IMO.
