W960 is touchscreen, though I fail to see the point given the smartphone feel and look of the device (reminds me of those CECT knock-offs you get on Ebay).

Screen resolution is the same as the N95, though the N95 8gb's screen is bigger.
N95 operating System is Symbian; W960 is Symbian UIQ

W960 WLAN is only type 11b. N95's is 54g (faster and more secure)

No infrared on W960

No HSDPA mobile broadband on W960

Both have 8gb of storage and no cardslot (boo). Sony claim fast transfer speeds to the internal memory via USB; the N95 8gb is slooooooooow

No GPS on W960

Free bluetooth stereo headset and mono headset with W960

5mpx Carl Zeiss camera on N95 vs 3.2mpx on W960 which is NOT a Cybershot, though is still proficient.

30fps vga video on N95 vs 30fps Qvga on W960

Native Youtube and Flash support on N95; W960 only has Orb and the newest Coreplayer as Youtube options, but no other Flash support.

W960 looks a little more smart, and they're perhaps less common than the N95 8gb; but the N95 aces out the W960 specification-wise.

If you want a fully featured smartphone the N95 8gb is the one for you; if you want a nice-looking handset with some good features and a better out-of-box music package than the N95 then the W960 might be the one.

But my opinion?

If you're buying the handset yourself and not getting it as an upgrade just get the classic N95: massively cheaper than the N95 8gb, cheaper than the W960 and you'll have enough money left over to go to the nearest casino, and a cardslot so you can whip those files onto your device faster than a speeding bullet - cards are cheap enough these days.
