According to the official N-Gage blog, Snakes Subsonic will be released next week. Snakes Subsonic is the sequel to the hugely acclaimed Snakes on the original gen N-Gage. On the plus side it will feature four-player online multiplayer gaming, but on the negative side it won't be free. Those of you who want the original Snakes on their next gen N-Gage-compatible phone can download it from the Nokia 5700 support page.

As you might notice from the official trailer there, all the release dates had to be pushed back because of delays in launching the platform itself. It seems Nokia have lots of first party games ready to go, which is much better than the original gen N-Gage managed at this stage in its life.
Additionally, you can get the original Snakes version in the Download! application, directly on your phone. (at least for some models...)
