Thanks to 3G, 3.5G and Wi-Fi technology the new N-Gage platform has far more options open to it for online gaming. We've already seen rankings, but there are now also real time multiplayer online games such as System Rush, Mile High Pinball and the very-soon-to-be-released Snakes Subsonic.
Nokia's also expressed an interest in doing another MMO game for the new N-Gage platform (they already did one called Pocket Kingdom on the original N-Gage which was a big hit).
What kind of online gaming do you most want to see on the new N-Gage platform?
"I don't want any online gaming on N-Gage"
I never cared much for online gaming, on phones, consoles or PCs. I just want a good RPG with a deep story. Like Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy 6 and Rifts. That sort of thing.
Although, thinking about it. I guess "Rankings & League Tables" is nice for some single player games.

Vote whatever feeling is uppermost. I'm sure many people want more than one kind of online game, but the poll is of what you want the most. 😊

What about the deep stories you get in some MMORPGs? How about a Rifts MMO for example?

I played a few MMOs because friends wanted me to, but they doesn't have deep stories. You go to some mother who have a sick son and go on a quest to find cure X on the mountain and return and cure the boy. Seconds later there's another player who do the same quest. It's pretty generic stuff that everyone does and it has no impact on the game world. These kind of game stories works better when there's one hero changing the world, than thousands not changing the world.
MMOs are just a grindfest that is about gaining levels and chatting with friends. And friends are usually also what ruins the game  Meeting some player named Santa Claus, Terminator or whatever and be swamped with 1337 speak and spoiling various quests isn't my idea of gaming fun. So it's just the chatting left, and that can me done with AIM, ICQ or MSN.
So yeah, I prefer to play story games on my own, just like I prefer to read books on my own. If I want to play games with friends then we meet and play Wii Bowling, Guitar Hero 3, Soul Calibur or something like that 😊

Fair enough! 😊
I enjoy the stories in text adventures, and the MMO versions (MUDs) usually aren't as plot-oriented. I'm not sure if they're still around to be honest, it's been a long time since I used one.
However I think there's also a lot of potential in MMO games in their own way, where you get communities of people communicating with each other and co-operating or just chatting.
The original N-Gage had a game called Pathway To Glory that was brilliant to play either over the web or over bluetooth with other N-Gage buddies. There was also a fun tennis game that worked the same way. I'd like to see a lot more of that kinda thing happening. Kept me occupied for countless hours.

You might want to check out Reset Generation, it's from the makers of PTG and it has four-player online games:

You can even play it on your PC if you prefer, it'll be available as a free Flash game as well as an N-Gage title.
Voted for competative but would be eqaully interested in online co-op, just depends on the games really.
Never got to play my favourite NGage game online(PtG) due to being on PAYG, now I can play online free through WiFi though I can't wait to see what online games are in store for NGage(regardless of Reset Generation I really hope there's a new PtG in the future!).
Worms should be fun online as always, nice pick up and play and good for quick sessions which will make it a nice WiFi hotspot multiplayer game.
i was a heavy addict of PC games like unreal tournament playing in online mode. i actually tried out for a clan and became part of the team, and we had scheduled matches. however, first person shooter games might be a little difficult on ngage platform. i always like shoot em up games like space impact.
