Unwanted files - how to remove them?

Hi,

I noticed that everytime I installed and uninstall programs in my 7650, there are still some unwanted files in the phone.

I have no idea of which files to be removed.

They are taking up spaces in the memory limited 7650.

Is there anybody with ideas to do a cleanup of the phone besides formatting it.

I did a backup using PC suite. So if I format the phone and restore using PC suite, can I eliminate those unnecessary files then?

Advised please.

regards,
Theran

I think there are some filemanagers that have a cleanup function that is supposed to cleanup the memory from such files. Never tried them though!

You can do it manually too! But just don't go around screwing up will all the programs, you'll have a hard time after! 😃

Yes, there is an option in PSiNT's eFile Manager (you can download a trial version) which deletes unwanted temporary files. I suppose these are what you mean. I've done it several times, and at least I can say it doesn't remove anything it shouldn't!

Try it, and see if it does what you want it to.

i'm having trouble finding out a way to uninstall the trial version of ringtone studio (by wildpalmz) in my 7650. i can't find it under the apps manager and even in my file explorer app. do you guys have any suggestion or does the app uninstall itself with the trial period is over?
