I'm not sure if this bug has appeared in previous firmwares, but i have noticed the following bug in v21.
I update the music on my phone on a weekly basis and use the refresh facility that the phone provides so that it recognises the new additions. However, the refresh facility doesn't seem to remove playlists that have been deleted from the list of available playlists that you can select and these have to be removed manually.
Has anyone else noticed this?

yeah, same here.
Sadly the N95 fails miserably as a music player when you start adding lots of tracks.
I have an 8gb card (about 4gb music) and refresh takes up to an hour each time - it still often fails to find newly added music or playlists. regularly fails to remove deleted music or playlists.
it's the same for me in v20 firmware - I was hoping that v21 might have helped this but clearly not.
An hour? Cripes. I've got 5GB of music on my 8GB card and it takes about a minute to refresh.
I have had this issue too. I suspect it is because of the 8GB card as I never had any issues with my 2 and 4 GB beforehand.
The only workaround is something I found on this forum - do a search and there are a couple of files you can delete in a hidden system folder that carries the database. Once you delete it, it will automatically rescan the system from here.
