Could someone please tell me how do I remotley sync my p800 to outlook on my desktop, as I did on my pocket pc and my palm.
I have the dialup connection working into our corporate network but how do I get it to connect to me desktop and sync.
Please help.

I asked the same question on the forum but no answer, but at least I worked it out (well, it works for me somewhat). The trick is that you dont actually use the "remote sync" app.

You need to go to Control Panel, Connection, Messaging Accounts and then create/setup your account. This will contain your standard username/password, download mail/header options, etc. Note that it will be a DIFFERENT account from the account created for Desktop/PC-Sync.

Once you have done this, go to the Messages (top left icon on the app bar) and you will see the account you have just created there. All you need to do then is to click GET & SEND and the bottom of the screen (assuming you have your GPRS all set-up properly of course).

I still dont know how to remote sync other parts of Outlook besides email.

Hope this helps and if anyone else have more ideas, I AM ALL EARS!!!

Cheers

I was searching the forum yeserday. I seem to remember somebody synched with outlook via Bluetooth. I think it was Anas p800 but I am not sure. If and when I find out I'll let you know. I have a Mac, so outlook might be my only hope until they get iSync set up for the P8
