Hi everyone,

Today i updated my N95 8GB (3 UK) on NSU to version 20. Backed up all the files through PCSuite as well.
Everything was good and update was sucessful.
Ok, started up my phone and left it for 2 mins..Then pressed the menu button and there wassent any of my programs, good it was fresh clean prohne. But then it frozen for a while..in that time i recieved a phone call, when i hunged up there was installation going on on my phone..wtf?
After it installed something i went to menu and i had few of my programs returned and all my photos and music in the gallery were there as well.

So i was just worried if that's normal or not? Because i did not start up my backup which i've done before updating and i thought it would delete everything from my phone?

Hope it make's sense.

Cheers.:con?

You forgot to empty the 8GB storage before flashing. Now some of your old soft is trying to reinstall. For a successfull firmware update, you need to empty the card BEFORE flashing and stay away from restorings backup afterwards.

Search this forum and find all the info you need.

Oh ok. That sounds pretty clear. So is this very bad or not? Could i leave tat or should i re-install the firmware update?
