mp3 as an alarm??

2 replies · 3,988 views · Started 21 May 2008

I used to have my phone set to go off every morning listening to an mp3 - until 2 days ago when I decided to change the mp3 (mainly because I got so used to the song that I kept sleeping in)

Now whenever I go to "Clock" and then "Settings" I used to have to option to chose my own mp3 but now all I have is "Download Sounds", "Default Tone" or "Off".

Has this menu changed or does anyone know if I'm missing something?

I just want to wake up to a song of my choosing and not a blooming beep-beep!

Thanks in advance

Hi Gavin.

Copy the mp3 of your choosing from memory card to phone memory, remove memory card, assign ringtone then re-insert memory card.

It's because of a bug when you have "too many" music files on your memory card.

Thank you so much for your help GordonShowers, it worked like a charm!

If your ever up in Glasgow, I owe you a pint cos this was seriously driving me mental for a good few days there!

Yer a star matie!!!
