Nokia MapLoader has also been updated to v1.38

PS: YOUR MOBILE MUST HAVE THE LATEST FIRMWARE INSTALLED ! ! !

Improvements to maps 2.0:

Send location to a friend (it has this option, of sorts but it doesnt work properly).

A new maploader. One that not only does maps, but lists new POI lists, and the date they were updated. Im sure they can get them more than twice a year.

Less searching online. Takes FAR too long to search for just a postcode. Could be done in less then a second if it was offline. I understand POI being online, but not things like postcodes and addresses.

i had a 3 year navigation licence for western europe (including UK) with previous maps on my n95 8gb, is this automatically transferred and do I still get the full 3 years?

Seeing as Nokia Maps 2 is now officially out, is there any sign of some sort of manual, or any idea of what type of POIs are available.

It would be nice to know what categories they have, so you know if you search for something it might be there.

The new map loader is good. Handy that it tells you there are new maps. And if I'm not wrong the new map data for Europe take up around 200MB less room than the old data did. :icon14:

lists new POI-lists in the new MapLoader 1.38?
I ran the program, but didn't see this option . . .
Where can I find this?
