They have stopped supporting PC's which are running Vista 😞 What's that all about, I can't upgrade my firmware 😞 Boooo!!!
Is there a reason does anyone know? Have they just stopped it while they update some stuff?

Yeah it's only temporary, as the NSU website says...
Support for Microsoft Vista has temporarily been removed from the Nokia Software Updater. This is due to recent changes in certain Microsoft Vista configurations that cause the Nokia Software Updater to become unstable. Other Microsoft Operating Systems are not affected. Support will be reintroduced as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Cheers dude, it's just that the disclaimer looked a bit "corporate" and it was posted on the 8th May. Wondered if anyone had a more uptodate take on it 😉
The only thing is that is has been that way for at least two weeks now. So this "temporary" matter feels like a long time already. Will we have to wait two weeks more or a month? Nobody knows.
OTOH, you can easily run the program in XP SP2 mode in Vista if you change the preferences for that app.
And what about Linux? ;P Supporting weakest systems while stablest not is not an issue, just get worse and worse system 😉
they stopped it after the service packs as loads of vista user had problems and some dead phones.
they are addressing this issue.
I use vista but i kept XP on laptop so yesterday changed producted code of mu unlocked n95 8GB voda and installed generic using NSU on XP.
Still not sorted 😞

.... lol...lucky I got XP at work!, just reloaded Maps onto new memory card......
.....you gotta love vista.... the reason why it doesn't get many viruses is simple.....non are compatible !😉
