Contacts Button Problem w/New Firmware

Hey guys,

After updating to the new firmware I am no longer able to open my contacts on the front screen. I have to open the flip in order to launch contacts??

I was reading on n forum that it may be caused by restoring a back up, but this is not the case for me. I did not restore anything and have just manually re installed my apps. The only programs I have installed are MFE, google maps, and google search.

Do you guys think that it may be something with MFE? Maybe the new firmware is conflicting with it somehow. i dont know, but it is driving my crazy. I already did a hard reset, on the device and the problem still persists.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

That sounds dodgy to me, i would re-install the upgrade again, and check it before installing or restoring anything. Then install apps one by one. To be honest if you've done a hard reset and that didn't work, the only option you still have is as i've suggested. back to NSU and you sould get the option to re-install again.

I just did another hard reset, and so far so good. Hopefully it wont happen again, if it does I am going to just reload the firmware.

after upgrading your FW is needed to:

1- *#7370# reset device to defaults
2- restore using nokia content copier..

than the contacts are working 😉
