These must be from the original N-Gage's 2003 launch, which makes them almost five years old.
I wonder if their batteries even work any more? Lithium batteries degrade whether you use them or not, so even if it's fresh out of the packet those five years may have taken their toll...
Indeed, not to mention the internal clock battery which can cause a very irritating start-up every time you switch the phone on and get asked to input the time(I know as mine suffered this symptom after a couple of years).
Great phone in its time though, always preferred it to the QD to be honest, and you didn't even need to side talk into the thing to begin with(one of it's most critisised points:rolleyes😊.
History might have been so different if Nokia had allowed the games to be sold as downloads (which would have avoided the game-changing problem), and if they'd allowed the games to be played on other S60 phones of the time (which would have given them a huge userbase straight away).
Wow, they all sold out!
