New version out, slightly different interface, faster drawing, and integration with R66 and Nokia maps favourites and recent searches.
I dont believe it coincidence that google changed the location of storing favourites and recent searches to the same places as Nokia maps and R66 does.
In plain English, this means that all your favourites and recent searches in R66, nokia maps and google maps, are all available in each app.
They need an option to view direction up as opposed to north up all the time.
Using it for driving even without turn by turn would be slightly more credable.
They need much more, most important is cache of downloaded map tiles. Not everywhere you can afford for roaming.

the trouble with that are the tiles are different depending on your zoom level
If they release a proper navigation option it will be using a different type of view.
After all, its not going to be very clear routing otherwise.

Nope, its not a problem. Look at MGMaps, it can be cached as a whole, or only desired zoom level. By the way, I hate google for blocking MGMaps from their tiles while developing only such sucking ass google maps. MGMaps are far more better (and google could learn this adding its navigation - this would be winning solution maybe even compared to Nokia Maps).
