Hello
Can anyone tell me how to find a location using gps coordinates in the new version of Nokia Maps 2. There seems to be no way to just enter a long/lat and find the place... Could do it on the previous version albeit by a roundabout route which leads me to suspect nokia have removed this functionality on purpose.
Seems a bit mad to me to have a gps tool that will only find places by postcode not gps coordinates.
Thanks
Afraid not. Just another reason why the claim its as good as a PND is way off the mark.
What a pain, wish I had looked more closely before upgrading now. Do I have to reflash firmware to get rid of v2?

Same question, how to downgrade this shit (Nokia Maps 2.0) to latest 1.x version? Anyone knows?

There is a workround for this by using the Landmarks application (can't remember what folder it is but try Connectivity or Tools)
Open Landmarks and then click Options/New Landmark/Enter manually/ then scroll down and it give you the option to enter gps coordinates, save it and it will appear under Favourites in Nokia Maps (or after saving just click Options/Show On Map)
Not ideal but it works
Thanks for that. Like a fool I'd never noticed Landmarks has it own app (in Connectivity you're right) I'd always accessed them through Maps.
Thanks again.
