yes, works absolutly fine bday
Yes it works nice on my phone as well. 😃
Installed as well, though my thought is, there are better eBook readers out there... just none yet for the Symbian OS. My personal all time fave is the iSilo eBook reader for the Palm, which is very feature rich. I'm hoping they will do a symbian version very soon.

I did and it works like a charm. Plus there is a widely selection to be had in mobipocket. Only gripe i have is that it doesnt have a free built in dictionary function. For that you need to buy an expensive electronic dictionary
Thanks for the replies. Can I know where you guys downloaded it from and is it free?

Mobipocket Reader can simply be downloaded from Mobipocket website.
You install a 14-days trial period of Mobipocket Reader Pro. After 14 days, you can purchase it or keep using Mobipocket Reader Standard (the software keeps working, with Standard features only).
hey ppl..are the eBooks free ?? most seem to cost $...
can you set mobipocket in fullscreen mode? the taskbar takes up too much space in landscape mode. i'm thinking of replacing my pocket pc which i use primarily as an ebook reader with a p800.

You can convert any text file to the format that reader uses by downloading a tool called "makedoc" (google for it).
Most ebooks you would find on usenet or irc...
Works perfect but you have to know something:
If you have installed the Mobipocket Reader on the Phone and you want to upload books to the Memorystick the Software uploads the Book allways to the phone. Then you can change the book from the phone to the stick.
But if you want upload a large book (like a translator) and you have not enough storrage on the phone (even if you have enough on the Stick), you will not be able to upload the book!
Solution (from Mobipocket Helpdesk):
Move (not copy) the "Library" Folder from the Phone to the Stick (Us for this "QFilman"😉. After this, your books will be directly uploaded to the Stick.

Here (in Sweden) you can borrow eBooks from the public library. Nice!
I've got Microsoft Reader on my PC. If I install the mobipocket reader on my P800, can I read the same books?
I bought a load of eBooks for MS Reader to use on my iPaq. My question is if I can read those on my P800, since their extention are (.lit) whilst the one Mobipocket Reader uses is (.prc). I can't seem to find a way to upload a .lit book to my P800 to test those. Need to use that darn Web Companion interface, and it doesn't seem to recognize my .lit books.
Appreciate any input guys,
Cheers

Is there a dictionary for sale for the P800 alread or did you mean another gadget?
LIT format belongs to M$. It is not public, ie only M$ application (MS Reader for PocketPC) is able to open those files.

Will you be coming up with an application that will allow us to edit exel files? 😊

Mobipocket Reader does not use AppForge. (it's a kind of library with a lot of tools for programmers, like a STDLIB).
