Memory Cards

I am looking to purchase a 64 MB Memory to replace the 16 MB standard.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase?

Do they need to be Nokia specific or will these adverts for cheaper ones work just as well?

Many thanks

Stephen

My Sandisk 64MB also spins like a kitten..
There are a lot of online stores that sell them..And those 64MB are really useful ( for all the .wavs and .nims.

Hi,

I just took delivery of a 64mb card and a USB card reader today, I got it from ValueMedia (http//www.valuemedia.co.uk/mm_card.htm) and it cost 54 pounds for the card. I had originally ordered a Dane-Elec and they called me the same day and said it was out of stock, but that the other card they had was 4 quid cheaper and made by th same people (just re-badged).

It works a treat, and the USB reader/writer makes it fast to download e-books, music files etc. Recommended.

Thanks for your replies.

Where did you purchase yours from?

How much should I be paying?

Thanks again

This is Funny...
I also got my MMC from valuemedia. User posted image
But that USB MMC reades seems to be a nice thing to have,if you wanna save some time on those Sloooooooow transfer processes..A 16 MB .wav takes forever.
Better get me one of those..

Just to say - many thanks - just put my order in with Valuemedia - will be here tomorrow !

54.00 - certainly beats 119 + VAT for the Nokia one !!

So many thanks to you all for your assistance.

Steve

PS Note about reformating and installing everything on the MMC - how do you reformat?
