I've just downloaded the Opera beta... it is in a newsgroup at my-communicator, not sure how legal this is, the install screen asks you to confirm that you received it directly from Opera... ooops.

Anyway, works fine on the "old" 9210, executes javascript, frames, css etc. Ran out of memory once, with a page with a fairly big jpeg. Otherwise it works a treat, and is a LOT faster to download pages, and page navigation is also easier.

it was in a news group on my-communicator.com - but it's been taken down at Opera's request. If I had a copy of it and people we to post their e-mail addresses i would send them the sis file - if I had it that is [wink-wink nudge-nudge]

There is usually a good reasons such things are on closed beta tests... Not that I'm saying you shouldn't try and get your hands on it.

Mmm... i got 1.9m memory free accourding to task man!
But when ever i try to run opera i get an out of memory message...
Is this just me or do you need more to run opera?

i think it needs a bit more.

and if i dont close most of my programs, it will run but then crash after awhile. i dont know if thats because of the memory needs or that its not that stable yet

For those who do not speak German, there is an [approximate] automated Google translation, if you press the british flag on the page top.
It seems that Opera very soon runs out of available Communicator memory. I didn't find any way to make it look for extra memory space on memory card. Did anyone else find any tip?
