Problem upgrading firmware

[SIZE="3"]I have a Nokia N95-1 locked on T-Mobile UK. When I type *#0000# on my phone I get :

V 12.0.0.013
19-06-07
RM-159
Nokia N95 (43.04)

The brand code was 0546659

I unbranded it to code Euro1 - 0534841

I downloaded and installed the latest Nokia software updater software from the Nokia website. Version 1.4.39en

I connect the Phone to my PC and choose PC Suite on the phone.

I start the software updater application. I click start at the welcome screen. I click next at the Getting Started screen. The software then tries to connect to the phone and I get an error message :

(Red Exclaimation Mark) Phone is not supported
Connected phone was not recognised

I dont underestand as when I use the Nokia PC Suite software, it recognises the phone perfectly.

Can anyone give me some help please?

Thanks

3 suggestions...

(a) Disable your Virus Scanner and Firewall applications before launching NSU

(b) double check the code was successfully changed to Euro-1 (use NSS to read the product code and compare with the website where you found the code.. and note that Leading zeroes must be typed in!).

(c) remove the memory card and perform a hard reset

- if none of the above work, you might need to uninstall ALL nokia software, run a registry cleaner and reinstall only NSU.

Hope this helps?
