I've recently been having a problem with my N95. It either locks up or spontaneously reboots itself at random intervals.
The only program that I have noticed running on most occasions is Opera Mini 4.1 (signed version). I should say I have been using Opera Mini happily since version 2, but I have only been getting the crashes since I upgraded to 4.1
Is anyone else seeing similar problems?

Hmm. Not quite. Opera Mini works fine, but i use it rarely. But... Garmin XT has tends to crash (without rebooting, just app kill) and the same about Google Maps by Google.
But i dont know that those are app issues or system or hardware or maybe sunlight 😉. Garmin could be app problem coz of its often crashes. Maybe Opera isnt written so good too.
Try to reinstall. Try to downgrade. Try to find someone with exactly same version (long one - i have for example 4.1.11355 dated at 2008/05/22).
Be more precise.

yep i've had the same problem!!and also with google search app it kept crashing the phone browser! i've since taken them of and things work fine now.

Interesting. I wonder if Opera know what there is a problem with Mini 4.1.
I might see if I can find a version 4.0 installer to download and see if that fixes the problem.

Well unfortunately I couldn't find a 4.0 installer on the web but I've pretty definitely pinned the crashes down to Opera Mini. I made sure it wasn't running today and today has been the first day I haven't had a crash since I upgraded to the final version of 4.1.
Interestingly the phone never crashed while I was using the 4.1 beta. It only started after I upgraded to the production version.
Mmmm, I've been using the prod version of mini opera extensively on my N95 and had no such crashes. It gets used on a daily basis, quite extensively.
i used to use it now use Opera 8.5 for symbian
